Jimi Tenor and his band are playing tonight (29 Sep) with a section of L'Ensemble Musiques Nouvelles at the Cirque Royal, Brussels, Belgium. The circular structured former indoor circus provides a glorious setting for the show which is part of the Botanique Festival.

'Spell' is out now (Sep 25) on Warp. The new single contains the radio edit of title track along with Maurice Fultons mix, and a house version of 'Backbone of Night'.

Jimi Tenor will be in Austria for the Audioroom 5 Austrian tour in November. The show will travel from Graz (Nov 9) to Vienna (Nov 11) via Linz (10 Nov). See the On Tour pages for more...

Jimi Tenor's sold-out Barbican show last Sunday (Sep 17) was a success, reviews of it can be found at The Observer, The Independent, The Guardian and nme.com. From London Jimi and his band have now moved on to Barcelona where they'll be playing this Friday (Sep 22), this time backed up by Banda Municipal de Barcelona.

The ultimate Jimi Tenor extravaganza will take place at the Barbican, London on September 17. The show will feature the Trinity College of Music Symphony Orchestra, Nicole Willis and Wanda Pittman on backing vocals, and Baluji Shrivastav on sitar. Matti Knaapi will be there too, along with a new, more elegant version of the Photophone, specially designed for the occasion. The costumes will be created by Anatole Kysk of Paris. The definitely spectacular show, with over 70 musicians on stage, will be the biggest of the current tour. Don't miss it! Check out the online flyer...
