The official release date (from Warp)
for Jimi's new album Out
Of Nowhere is July 17.
The album is quite different from Jimi's
previous works. His massive orchestral journey with
the Orchestra of the Great Theatre Lodz is an impressive
example of musical diversity, blending many styles and
elements from Baluji Shrivastav's sitar and tablas to
some pretty dramatic vocals of the Pro Canto Choir into
a highly enjoyable experience. Contributions from his
wife Nicole Willis include lyrics for the single release
Spell, and lead vocals on Call of the Wild.

Nowhere here.

It seems like the release of Jimi's
new album "Out Of
Nowhere" (Warp) might be delayed until July.
The album was recorded last autumn in Poland with the
Orchestra of the Great Theatre Lodz, conducted by Tadeusz
Kozlowski. Playing with Jimi and the orchestra are Ilkka
Mattila, Chris Dawkins, Saturo Ito, Mike Kearsey, Caroline
Boaden, Mikey Wilson, Baluji Shrivastav, Wanda Pittman
and of course Nicole Willis, whose solo
album is also something to look forward to.
Out now is the Jimi Tenor produced
album "Impostor
Orchestra: Heliopause" (Sähkö/Puu-19).
Here's some reviews.
